Daughters of Zion

The Daughters of Zion (“DOZ”) mentor program endeavors to encourage personal worth, self esteem, empowerment, and planning for the future to all young ladies (primarily ages 12-21) who desire to become strong, compassionate, self-sufficient and virtuous women.

Vision: To reach young ladies on a personal and community level through mentoring and group activities.

Mission: The Mission is for all young ladies to develop a sense of confidence, self worth, high moral standards and community and in turn go on to mentor other young ladies to strive for excellence in all areas of life and make a positive impact in society.

Objective: Through regular meetings and community outreach, we will share and discuss issues which are important and relevant to young ladies today. Furthermore strategize solutions which function to aid the issues young women face and develop problem solving techniques to fulfill their destiny as a Daughter of Zion.

Motto/Slogan: “Training young ladies for their destiny in Christ and in life.”

Scripture Focus: Titus 2:3-4a (KJV) – The aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becometh holiness…teachers of good things; that they may teach the young women.
